Les 2 Alpes Summer Freestyle Camp

Paromcamps truly emphasizes world class coaching. Both skiers and snowboarders have their own coaching groups. All ability levels are considered and you can participate into both camps no matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced rider. Riders will be grouped by the skills of riding (beginners, intermediate and advanced). All our coaches are pro-snowboarders and -skiers who will get your snowboard/skiing skills in shape. After riding sessions our coaches and the group will go through the tricks and riding with a help of video analysis.

  

Campers are able to influence the content of a daily clinics; freeride/jumps/rails/half pipe. Our coaching group sizes are 5-7 riders per coach. If you wish to receive private coaching (1-on-1) we’ll provide it to you (please require a special rate).

Our filmers will shoot material throughout the camps. The published material later in the autumn will be a nice memory from the trip.

Paromcamps’ focus is on making everybody enjoy riding and learning new tricks. We’ll make sure that the group spirit hits the ceiling! You will get loads of new friends and good memories from our camps. This will be the definitely best riding trip ever!

Small idyllic Alpine village has good services; everything you can wish to have a perfect holiday. Multiple skate/Snowboard/ski-shops, restaurants for all tastes, grocery stores etc. are all located in the 2km long village road. Bakeries and internet cafes are also in every street corner.
  
After riding in the glacier the activities in the village are endless. These are all of course included to our camp price. Change a swim wear and enjoy the day in the out door pools or mountain lake nearby. Testing new tricks on a trampoline before hitting the snow is possible in 6 large trampolines outdoors.

Within our camps we’ll also visit nearby town Grenoble where there is a indoor skatepark and outdoor skate pool. Venosc, a small village next to Les 2 Alpes offers great rafting (20€/pers). In Aventure Parc you can have fun with help of climbing harness and safety ropes in a forest  with monkey bridges, rope ladders, barrels and bungee jumping (25€).

Our campers will accommodate in a luxury chalet type of accommodation nearby Les 2 Alpes down town.  Extremely cosy chalet provides a huge sun deck with a jacuzzi for relaxation with alpine views. Campers will also have a private skate mini for afternoon sessions. To main gonola you walk only 10 min, to nearby shops 200m and mountain lake 200m.

   

Adults campers can choose apartment accommodation nearby our chalet. 2-4 persons apartments have all a small kitchenette for cooking and a balcony with mountain views.

Going on a trip is always exiting and especially then when you do it for the first times independently. All ages of children can participate to our camps without their parents and youngest of our campers are only 8 years old. The entire camp programme is planned from children’s and youngster’s perspective. Our trustworthy staff is helping the underage campers 24/7. Our staff is first aid trained.COMPETENCE LEVEL OF CAMPERS: All of our campers are being asked to fill up a form of their competence level and previous experience on the sport. Camp staff goes carefully through all participants and campers are being divided into small groups according to their level.

USING A HELMET: Helmet is mandatory for all riders under 18 years when skiing and snowboarding. Make sure that your insurance company proofs your Paljon uusia ystäviä lajin paristahelmet.

SAFETY AND SUPERVISION: In action sports such as freestyle skiing and snowboarding some injuries are inevitable. Our staff exists to enforce safety and mitigate injuries. Our general camp rules and coaching group structure are planned to mi nimize the risk of any injuries. Coaching groups are small (5-7 persons) to guarantee individual and intensive learning. Small groups also increase the safety in the snow park.

Camp and general rules in the pistes are being advised to all campers and they need to be followed. Down in the village the campers can move freely but our staff will be participating all activities. Campers are not allowed to leave Les 2 Alpes village without a permit and supervision of our staff. Campers will be informed the “home coming times” and our staff makes sure that they are followed.

In the event of an injury occurs our first aid trained staff makes sure that a proper treatment will be given. Also professional ski patrol will be called to assist. Our staff carries always first aid kit with them. We will transfer patients to medical check in Les 2 Alpes hospital. If the condition requires a care in Grenoble hospital, our staff is prepared for that as well. In the event a camper must be transported to a medical facility, the parents will be notified as soon as possible.

• For European citizen we highly recommend to carry European Health Insurance Card with you
• All campers MUST have a travel insurance to cover active sports and glacier riding
• All campers need to provide parents contact information which is valid 24/7
• All campers need to inform the staff of possible allergies, disorders and medications

ZERO TOLERANZE: Our camps are following the zero tolerance of alcohol/ tobacco/other drugs. All underage campers must follow this rule. Campers will be informed that their failure may result in expulsion and prosecution.

OTHER THINGS TO TAKE UNDER CONSIDERATION:

• Tab water is drinkable
• Using the telephone is usually more expensive than in home country. All operators are normally active in France. Make sure you don’t have any restrictions for phone calls in abroad.
