Situated on Japan\u2019s Northern island of Hokkaido, Niseko is the mecca of powder snow. During our Freeride camps we\u2019ll ski Niseko and the surrounding area in small groups together with our backcountry guides. Freeride Camp is a perfect option also for solo travelers \u2013 You will get to know other like-minded adventurers. <\/strong><\/p>\n

General Information<\/a><\/h2>\n

Cold wind blows from the north-west and Siberia across the Sea of Japan creating a consistent weather system with tons of snow throughout the winter season. Add Japanese culture and hospitality and you understand why freeriders keep returning to Hokkaido year after year.<\/p>\n

Off-piste and Backcountry<\/a><\/h2>\n

Leave world behind and ski and snowboard the jaw-dropping amounts of world\u2019s finest and lightest powder, famous pillow lines and perfect tree runs. Different type of off-piste terrain is accessible in multiple resorts with lift access or alternatively ski-touring in the backcountry.<\/p>\n

Paromcamps is located in Quasi-National Park, right next to the highest peaks of Niseko area; Mt Chisenupuri and Nitonupuri are only few hundred meters away. Some of the ski-touring will be done straight from our lodges door steps. The area provides endless opportunities for all backcountry enthusiasts. Our small guiding groups makes it possible to divide guests for the ones that wish to focus more on off-piste with a lift access or alternatively a group having hikes in the backcountry. Resorts such as Niseko United, Moiwa and Rusutsu will be all visited during the camp.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In our camps, you have the change to ride daily together with our professional backcountry guides. Camp participants will be divided into smaller groups based on the previous experience and ability level. Small groups ensure that you\u2019ll get the maximum out of your ski-day, instead of having extra waiting for other group members. We provide you both off-piste and full backcountry experiences during your trip. You get to ski as much as your legs and daylight allow. Daily plans are customized by our experienced guides to suit your needs and desires.<\/p>\n

Accommodation and Traveling<\/a><\/h2>\n

Prior to your trip, we’ll advice you with preferred flight schedule to meet our airport shuttle. Our crew will pick you up from the New Chitose airport and transports you directly to our lodge in Chisenupuri.<\/p>\n

Paromcamps unique location up in the mountains and hills of Chisenupuri, just stone throw away from Niseko ski area is truly a getaway from the fuss. Our guests praise about our prime location \u2013 Chisenupuri is part of Japanese Quasi National Park area. Our location was chosen for these reasons;<\/p>\n

Amazing and varied terrain location<\/strong> \u2013 Several mountain ranges that get ridiculous amount of snow annually. Niseko region\u2019s most well known\u00a0 backcountry spots such as Mt Chisenupuri and Nitonupuri are few hundred meters away. The drive to nearest resorts Moiwa and Annupuri takes approximately ten minutes.<\/p>\n

Calm and tranquility <\/strong>\u2013 Our guests are here for powder snow and epic skiing. Days are active and proper night-life comes rarely to anyone\u2019s mind. Our lodge is on a quiet National Park area, not in Hirafu night-life district. Nevertheless, having a drink or two is not excluded. We\u2019ll have dinners every night in several local restaurants.<\/p>\n
