Parom’s founder, Inka, has been skiing and snowboarding for as long as she can remember. Growing up right next to a local ski resort, she spent every spare moment on the slopes. She first competed in slalom, then later switched to snowboarding, taking part in half-pipe competitions.
After several seasons of training, traveling, and coaching in Canada and across the European Alps, Inka knew she couldn’t leave snow sports behind. Parom had long been her dream—a way for everyone to enjoy riding, traveling, and sharing great moments with friends.
For the past fourteen seasons, Inka has been guiding in Hokkaido, where she now lives year-round. She knows the Niseko area and Central Hokkaido’s resorts and backcountry inside out, and she’s always excited to share that knowledge with others.
