Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor is our mountain guide in Canada. Alongside guiding, he works part-time on the Kicking Horse Resort safety team and teaches avalanche courses to both skiers and snowmobilers.

With more than 20 years of ski industry experience, Mike has worked all over the world, including nine seasons in Chile and Argentina, where he played a key role in guided ski-trips. Now based in Golden, British Columbia, for two decades. Mike is certified with first aid and is a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association.

When he’s not guiding, Mike loves mountain biking, camping, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and even playing guitar by the campfire.
