Ode Siivonen, mountain guide

A true mountain guru Ode Siivonen is one of the most bets known Scandinavian freeriders and he lives all year round in Chamonix. UIAGM-mountain guide certification in his rear pocket allows him to take skiers and snowboarders to backcountries for powder hunting. This multipurpose-man has his fingers in writing articles to snow media, organizing multiple events and competitions related skiing and snowboarding, the list is endless. Ode will be our guide in Chamonix during the freeskiing week 18-25th of February 2012. You can also book him throughout the season for additional fee, whether for a group or a private use. Ode will be responsible for the snow and security training in Chamonix. Knowhow on weather, terrain, different types of avalanches, assessing hazard, how to move on avalanche area, gear and rescuing. The training consist both theory and hands-on practicing. (First-Aid trained)
