Ability Level and Groupings in our Camps

To get the most out of your Freeride Camp, you should be an intermediate or advanced skier or snowboarder. This means you ski or ride regularly, are comfortable on a variety of terrain, and can confidently control your speed and turns in changing snow conditions.

If you have little or no previous powder skiing or snowboarding experience, that’s absolutely fine—you’ll quickly get the hang of it with guidance from our experienced instructors.

We also recommend preparing with some fitness training before your trip. Good physical conditioning will help you make the most of each day on the mountain and reduce fatigue during the first few powder-filled days.

Before the camp begins, we take the time to understand each guest’s skiing or snowboarding ability, experience, and goals. Based on this information, we divide participants into small groups with similar skill levels, ensuring everyone enjoys the best possible experience throughout the week.
