ABILITY LEVEL OF CAMPERS All campers will have a short session with coaches at the beginning of the camp to discuss one’s ability level and wishes for coaching and learning new tricks. Small coaching groups are formed based on the ability level and equipment (skiers and snowboarders in separate groups) to ensure the safety and progressing.
USING A HELMET wearing a helmet is mandatory for all campers. Please make sure that your helmet is complete (no cracks) and approved by your insurance company.
SAFETY AND SUPERVISION
While injuries are inevitable in action sports and camp activities, our camp rules, protocols, and staff exist to enforce safety and mitigate injuries. In our camps, all campers spend their time in small coaching groups which are matched with their ability level. Our coaches are prepared to coach the group’s ability level, ensuring that campers are not training tricks beyond their ability.
Small coaching groups also increase the general safety in the snowpark. Camp and general ski-area rules in the pistes are being advised to all campers and these need to be followed.
In the village campers can move freely without a supervision but our staff will be participating all afternoon activities. Campers are not allowed to leave village without a supervision of our staff. Underage campers will be informed the “home coming times” and our staff makes sure that they are followed.
All of our staff is First Aid trained. In the event of an injury, our staff will assess the situation and determine if outside medical care may be needed. In addition, we cooperate closely with Ski Area Patrol and local hospital for any medical care needed. In the event a camper must be transported to a medical facility, parents will be notified as soon as practicable.
