Snow Safety and Mountain Guiding
Our IFGMA-certified backcountry guides have lived in the area for years. They have broad knowledge of the mountain range, glaciers and weather conditions of the area. Our priority is always the safety of our guests. Our guides are trained in avalanche risk management and first aid & rescue. Some risks come as part of freeriding and therefore we require all participants to carry full avalanche safety equipment (beacon, probe, shovel) and to obey given instructions to ensure amazing powder days.
Our guides will cover the basics of backcountry and glacier skiing with you, and teach you how to minimize the risks. You’ll get familiar with the Chamonix side- and backcountry. You also have a change of skiing one of the most legendary Glaciers of all time – Vallée Blanche route, where you get to see the most amazing views of Mont Blanc and kilometers long run through the valley.
Chamonix village and activities
Chamonix feels more like an Alpine city. It offers more activities than the usual Alpine resort. Skiers, snowboarders and climbers come here from all over the world, making the atmosphere truly international, but at the same time Chamonix has remained very French with all those cosy cafes and small traditional Savoyard restaurants. There are shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars for every taste, and a vibrant night life. Tired from all that skiing? You can hit the climbing gym, go curling or opt for a day at the spa and enjoy a relaxing massage.
