What to Expect When Participating Our Camps – An Idea of a Daily Schedule

Arriving at Our Freeride Camp

Before your trip, you’ll receive detailed travel information, including our recommended flight schedules that are coordinated with our airport transfers.

Our staff will welcome you at New Chitose Airport, and the journey to our lodge takes approximately two hours by our comfortable minivans.

Most guests arrive at the lodge in the early evening, depending on their flight connections. After check-in, you’ll have time to settle into your room, unpack, and prepare your equipment for the week ahead. If you require rental equipment, simply let us know in advance, and we’ll ensure everything is ready upon your arrival.

Snow Safety Training

The first day of the camp begins with an essential snow safety session held at a convenient location within the ski resort. During this briefing, our certified guides will introduce you to avalanche safety equipment and teach the fundamentals of companion rescue, including how to use avalanche transceivers, probes, and shovels.

Throughout the week, you’ll continue developing your backcountry knowledge as our guides share valuable insights into avalanche terrain, snow conditions, route selection, risk assessment, and safe decision-making in the mountains.
