Hintertux Betterpark is often considered to be one of the best snowparks in the Alps. Many international riders gather here as the snow conditions are great already in October due to the location and high altitude. During our Freestyle Camps we will train new tricks together with our professional coaches. In the afternoon down in the village of Mayrhofen, mild summer like climate enables skateboarding and multiple other activities.
SnowPark
Hintertux glacier is open around the year and Betterpark operates from September onwards. After gondola and couple of lift runs later, you’ll arrive to the glacier to 3200 meters’ altitude. From the top of the mountain you can see the amazing views over the glacier and spot the snowpark area, multiple kilometers of groomers and several alpine racing tracks. Hintertux is famous for its early season conditions and therefore many teams and pro-riders are practising here before the competition season starts.
Betterpark has been designed for all level of riders. As well as pros, rookies can find perfect lines for practising new tricks. Everyone will find obstacles suitable for their individual skill levels. Snowpark landscape consist of five lines and is groomed daily by professional shapers. Small and medium sized kickers and easier rails and other obstacles are in the mid part of the park. This guarantees that you’ll get variation to your runs.
During Autumn months Betterpark is among the first snowparks to open in whole Europe. Lifts leading up to the snowpark open early in the morning and operate late in the afternoon. Coaching groups will have lunch break in the Betterpark chill area around noon time, meanwhile enjoying the sun and great atmosphere.

COACHING
Paromcamps emphasizes world class coaching. Both skiers and snowboarders have their own coaching groups. Autumn 2021 Freestyle Camps in Hintertux are dedicated for mediocre and advanced riders and skiers. As long as you have experience on riding a snowpark and you can handle basic tricks from kickers and rails, you can participate our camps.
All our coaches are pro-snowboarders and -skiers and will get your snowboard/skiing skills in shape. After riding sessions our coaches and the group will go through the tricks and riding with the help of video analysis.
Parom’s focus is on making everybody enjoy riding and learning new tricks. We’ll make sure that the group spirit hits the ceiling! You will get loads of new friends and good memories from our camps. Campers are able to influence the content of daily coaching sessions. Our coaching group sizes are 3-5 riders per coach.
Our filmers will shoot material throughout the camps. Published material later in the autumn will be a nice memory from the trip. In our camps the group spirit is amazing. You will have the best time of your life in our camps.

VILLAGE AND ACTIVITIES
During our Hintertux Camp, we’ll accommodate in Mayrhofen village, roughly half an hour drive away from the glacier. Mayrhofen is a compact and traditional Alpine village with the basic services you need on ski-holiday. Grocery stores, restaurants, cafeterias, some sport shops, bars and ATM are all in Mayrhofen. Many sport related afternoon activities are well presented in the village. During the week we’ll also visit Innsbruck city for indoor skatepark or alternatively hanging around in the beautiful old town of Innsbruck.

ACCOMMODATION
We will accommodate nearby Mayrhofen village during the camp. Our chalet is built in two floors, one with bedrooms and one with kitchen and living room with lounge to chill, spend and enjoy time together. Balcony around the chalet provides the most amazing views over the village and nearby mountains. Our camp includes full board – Healthy breakfast, lunch at the park, dinner and snacks.
